Most bedding companies selling Latex mattress can contain a blend of natural latex, synthetic latex and chemical fillers to add durability, firmness and to keep the cost low. These tend to have strong odour, break down faster, tear easier and disintegrate within half its life span.

Internet these days sell mattresses made from petroleum-based polyurethane. They can emit chemical odours (“off-gassing”) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) over time — which can contribute to pollutant air and impact health directly. At Luxeqo, we do not use any polyurethane foam. Instead, we proudly use 100% organic latex from sustainably harvested rubber trees.

Memory foams are nothing but polyurethane foams with chemicals added to make them “slow to respond,” and generally have strong chemical odours and long-term health risks due to off-gassing. At Luxeqo, we use only 100% organic latex sourced from well-managed sustainable forests.

A spring mattress requires PU foam or Memory foam to fill in to provide support. However, a spring mattress sags over time with body weight and catches stains and dust mites. The metal in spring mattreses also acts as an antenna that amplifies any FM or Tv/ Mobile frequencies. It doesn't have to 'look' like an antenna to behave in the same way.
